Our final step towards curious, confident learning.
The Pebbles & Piaget Junior Kindergarten 2 program encourages deeper inquiry, collaboration, and creative thinking. Through rich experiences and meaningful relationships, children build confidence, explore ideas, and develop a strong sense of belonging within their learning community. As a school readiness program Pebbles & Piaget’s Junior Kindergarten in Vancouver aspires to build further academic momentum, creative ambition, and social competence in preparation for the transition to Kindergarten.
In our Junior Kindergarten programs, children deepen the skills that support confident and capable learners. Through inquiry, collaborative play, and hands-on exploration, educators support the development of early literacy, numeracy, communication, and critical thinking. Learning emerges through meaningful experiences; investigating ideas, solving problems, creating representations, and working alongside peers. By nurturing curiosity, independence, and a strong sense of belonging, we help children build the foundations needed for future academic learning while honouring the joy and wonder of childhood.
“Designing schedules that minimize transitions and create long periods of uninterrupted time allows children to develop their ideas and pursue their inquiries.”
